The Ave's schedule of road closures

The Ave. will be closed block by block to vehicles during construction. Roadway sections that are closed will remain closed during non-working hours and non-working days, except during the holiday shutdown period. Construction is to follow these hours: 6 a.m. to 7 p.m. from Monday through Friday. The contractor may work extended hours and weekends to meet scheduled goals.

The schedule of closures is as follows:

  • N.E. Campus Parkway to NE 42nd Street, including NE 41st Street

  • N.E. 41st Street to NE 43rd Street, including NE 42nd Street. N.E. 43rd Street shall maintain one lane each way at all times, except as scheduled through the engineer.

  • N.E. 43rd Street to N.E. 45th Street, not including N.E. 43rd Street. N.E. 45th Street may be reduced to one lane in each direction.

  • N.E. 45th Street to north of N.E. 47th Street. N.E. 45th Street shall be open full width and N.E. 47th Street may be closed.

  • North of N.E. 47th Street to N.E. 50th Street. N.E. 47th Street shall be open full width and NE 50th Street may be closed.
