The RainyDawg Report

I hope you have enjoyed the first week of RainyDawg Radio and all the music coming out of our studio in the HUB. My name is Erin Church and I host the show Audio Zoloft on Fridays from 10 a.m. until noon. I pride myself on a premium music selection, so here are a few bands that are worth checking out:

The Natural History

An up-and-coming NYC band that is really great in that Pavement, Built to Spill, 764-HERO kind of way. They will hopefully be on my show in March and playing a local venue in Seattle around the same time.

Atom and His Package

Atom isn't as crude as he sounds. His package is a box containing all his back-up music, while Atom plays on stage. He's terrifically funny. My favorite song of his is "She's in the Bathroom."

The Glands

This Georgia-based band doesn't get much airplay in Seattle. The band's self-titled 2000 release is great. The first song focuses on the hardships of moving out of your parent's home. It's somewhere we've all been.
