No. 1: The scent of a man/woman
Guys:
Fragrances last a long time, but be careful -- the scent might last longer than your relationship. Fahrenheit is a brute, manly scent with a twist. Issey Miyake is my personal favorite -- while expensive, it is a stellar cologne and is flexible for all occasions and times of year.
Girls:
Most women like to wear fragrances that are unique. I prefer less-popular fragrances such as Escada Island Kiss, Bulgari Eau Parfumee, Comptoir Sud Pacifique's Vanille Abricot and Aloha Tiare.
If it smells good to you, the scent is accomplishing its chief objective, so break out your nose, and remember: Those coffee beans at Sephora are not for the eating, they are used to cleanse your sniffing palate.
