Spotlight: Aladdin Gyro-Cery

It's 1:30 a.m. and suddenly you're struck with a craving for a late-night snack. Unfortunately, you only have $5, and a McGriddle sandwich doesn't seem to be the answer. Luckily for those living in the U-District, Aladdin Gyro-Cery is just a short trip to the Ave. away.

Offering a unique dining experience for about $5, Aladdin is an ideal place to get a quality meal. The decor consists of miscellaneous cultural items on the walls, and seating is available at both standard tables and beneath a tent-like area in the rear of the restaurant. The overall effect is the convenience and spaciousness of a cafeteria with the appeal of another culture.

The menu at Aladdin also exhibits the influence of multiple cultures, as customers can get anything from French fries to falafel. In addition, the service is quick and the quality is exceptional. With a great atmosphere, fine food, convenient location and late hours (until 2 a.m.), Aladdin Gyro-Cery should be a staple for anyone in the area.
