Having trouble finding the perfect gift for the perfect guy? No sweat. Whether shopping for a dad, boyfriend or brother, these gift ideas will make shopping a breeze. Here are 10 items to keep in mind when shopping for that special man.

  1. Halo 2

The hot new game from XBox has just been released -- Halo 2. Halo 2 is the sequel to bestselling Halo, which has sold five million copies during the more than three years after its release. Halo 2 is rated M for gratuitous violence and profane language.

Dads might not be too excited about it, but boyfriends and brothers sure will be. Halo 2 can be purchased at any gaming or superstore such as Wal-Mart, Target or Best Buy for $49.99.

  1. Ski pass

The perfect gift for anybody who loves the snowy outdoors would be a rental season ski pass at Snoqualmie for $50. Whether he is a skier, snowboarder or not sure yet, this gift is a great especially for the wintertime. This pass does not include the price of a lift ticket, but it's a good start for someone who loves the mountains.

  1. Sweater

The clothing gift a man will really appreciate is a sweater. Aim for a simple, practical sweater in one of his favorite colors, and try to make sure the material is soft, not itchy. American Eagle has some great sweaters for as low as $29.

For last-minute shoppers, a newly released video or DVD can be a great gift, because one can be purchased at many locations, and there's usually a good selection. A good movie always wins a man over. When purchasing a movie, try to consider his interests and buy accordingly. Also, try to get something new, so you don't run the risk of getting something he already has. Check out local stores for new releases like Napoleon Dynamite, which comes out Dec 21.

For men who like to keep their skin smooth, the Norelco reflex electric razor is the thing for him. This is a gift that any man would appreciate, and it's a pretty good deal at about $45.

A Chess set is also a durable gift that a man of any age could put to good use. If he's a big chess nut, then what else would look cooler than a new chess set in his room? Chess sets come in all sorts of styles and colors. If he is simple and sophisticated, look at wooden or glass sets. Or, if he's a whimsical man, look at the theme chess sets on the market today, such as ones with civil war pieces. Starting at $20, a new chess set would really liven up his party pad.

  1. Sporting event tickets, concert tickets

What man isn't into sports and/or music? Tickets to a football, basketball or baseball game, or a musical event will bring the recipient great happiness.
