Today
Rooney performs free of charge and signs copies of its self-titled debut album at Easy Street Records in Queen Anne. The festivities begin at 6 p.m.
Modest Mouse performs a benefit concert for the Leukemia Society of America at Showbox. The show is at 9 p.m. and is sold out.
The Posies, Alien Crime Syndicate and Sushi Robo blast open the doors of Seattle's newest club, Neumo's, at 9 p.m. Tickets are $10.
Tomorrow
- Pretty Girls Make Graves and a host of others keep Neumo's doors open with an all-ages show at 8 p.m. Tickets are still only $10.
Saturday
Chris Rock brings his Black Ambition Tour to Benaroya Hall at 7 p.m. Tickets range from $39.50 to $59.50.
A veritable who's who of punk pop comes to the Paramount at 7 p.m.: Simple Plan, MxPx, Sugarcult and Billy Talent are all in one place for only $18.
Minus the Bear plays a show for Snowboarding for Breast Cancer Research at Chop Suey. It's free but the $8 donation is highly recommended. 9 p.m.
Monday
- Up-and-coming rock band The Stills keeps Neumo's in business with a 9 p.m., 21-and-over show. Tickets are $10.
Tuesday
The Crystal Method gets everyone over 21 pumped up with an 8 p.m. concert at the Showbox. Tickets are $17.50.
The High Llamas, Joanna Newson and Jen Wood play a 9 p.m. show at Neumo's. Unfortunately, tickets for this are a hefty $12 this time around.
Wednesday
- Liz Phair brings her newfound pop princess persona to the Moore Theatre with Rachael Yamagata and Patrick Park starting the show at 8 p.m. Tickets are $21.
