Parting shots: Bryant Worthing

I have to say that all the people I met through working at The Daily have been cool; I am happy to have surrounded myself with such an intelligent, interesting and fun group of folks.

First and foremost, big shout out to Matt Chernicoff for being the main influence on getting me into sports journalism because it all worked out. You are one of the best friends anybody could have, and you know how us former Franklin Quakers do; meet me at our favorite time late in the afternoon.

To my dolls Lauren Graf and Allison Peryea that have some of these boys wrapped around their fingers like puppets, I love it! (Don't hate on bunny rabbit LG!) Sorry for putting you two on blast, but players recognize players (AP: Stop making those boys psycho).

To my fellas in our class of Daily writers: Randy Trick (and his wifey Hilary Maynard: Please, take a doggy bag with you when driving from Portland!), Alex Sundby (always with the fresh '50s part), Brian Stryker (Fitch's got nothing on you), Travis Hay (married with music writing skills), Derek Belt (drinks like a fish), Scott Rosen (don't let anyone throw you into a recycle bin again!) and Andrew Winner (Spokane get ya money man!).

I have at least one funny thing to say about each of you for every five you have on me. I truly hope all the Daily folk have learned from me as much as I have learned from them.

Come to the Buena Vista June 12 because it will be the most off-the-hook graduation party the UW has ever seen. Promise that.

Huskies from life from the inner cities to the burbs: Much love. I'm going pro like Nate.
