This past season the UW men's basketball team saw the second highest increase in attendance among Division I schools, according to The NCAA News.

On average, the Huskies drew 2,110 more fans per game this past season than during the 2003-2004 season. Virginia Tech took top honors with an increase of 3,063 per game.

16 other Division I teams bettered their attendance by more than 1,000 per game.

10 of the 15 home games sold out, smashing the previous season record of four sellouts established during the 1999 season. The team also narrowly eclipsed their previous season attendance record with 148,201 people attending games last year. The previous record of 147,959 was set in 1953.
