Senior golfer Paige McKenzie was defeated Saturday by 16-year-old Ya-Ni Tseng at the 103rd North and South Women's Amateur Championship at Pinehurst No. 2 in North Carolina.

Tseng jumped out to a two-hole advantage early during the semifinals round and didn't relinquish her lead until the 16th hole when McKenzie took her only lead. Tseng then hit her tee-shot within three feet of the hole on 17, finishing with a birdie. The players then split the 18th, entering sudden-death play.

On the 19th hole Tseng shot for par while McKenzie bogeyed after missing two putts.
