Competition today at the Bill Dellinger Invitational -- taking place in Eugene, Oregon -- will provide a significant opportunity for both the men and women to qualify for the NCAA Championships in November. There are 13 teams currently ranked in the top-30 participating in the meet.[HTML_REMOVED]

The rest of the Huskies will travel to Salem, Ore., on Saturday to compete in the Charles Bowles Invitational. The Husky women are the defending champions of the meet, which is host to mostly small colleges and clubs throughout the Northwest, while the UW men placed second last year -- falling to Portland, Ore. Looking to lead the Huskies at this meet will be the talented freshman class. Of the 12 Washington men entered, seven are first-year competitors.
