Police broke up a brawl of teenage girls, aged 13 to 16, at a Chuck E. Cheese's in Mississippi.

Officers on a New Jersey State Police helicopter discovered a swastika made in a cornfield in a rural part of the state. Similar swastikas were also found in the area in 1998 and 1999.

A Siberian woman contributed to fixing Russia's low birth rate when she gave birth to a 17-pound (7.75 kg) baby in a Barnaul hospital. It was her 12th child. The Guinness Book of World Records lists the biggest baby ever born as weighing in at 10.2 kg in 1879.

In its most recent edition, which was released today, the Guinness Book of World Records reports that Australian John Allwood smashed 40 watermelons with his head in one minute, and Germany's Thomas Vogel unfastened 56 bras in 60 seconds using only one hand.
