Pennsylvania 6500
As I’m writing this it is the day of the Pennsylvania primary. I don’t know when this will be published, but when it is, please tell me how the primary turned out. I imagine it was quite exciting.
For kicks, here are some predictions I made about the primary. Let’s see how many turn out to be correct.
- Pat Buchanan will finally say something so racist that one of the other panel members will punch him in the face. He’ll then complain about how this is another of sign of the oppression of white people.
- John McCain will spend the day taking a nap. He’s all tuckered out.
- Super delegates will take a shot after every time the phrase, “Super delegates will decide this race,” is used. Many will die due to alcohol poisoning.
- The “I’m not racist, but…” demographic will turn out in droves for Hillary Clinton.
- Bill Clinton will bring up Bosnia again.
- Wolf Blitzer, after staring at that map for hours on end, will finally realize how ridiculous his name is.

Today’s cartoon is a break from the six-part story arch that was previously featured. I figured you’ve probably grown tired of Jim and Jillian’s antics, so a cartoon without them would probably be appreciated.
These “What do you think” cartoons can be hard because you need three strong gags, and sometimes it can be impossible to come up with a third gag. Luckily this one came together very quickly, which indicates that the next one will take forever.
The guy in the first panel took awhile to design. I kept going for some bland, middle-class businessman; But then out of nowhere I sketched this weird, lower-class mechanic. I actually thought it fit better with what he was supposed to say, so I kept him.
Fun Fact #39: The last panel features a reference to a comment made by Chris Matthews from MSNBC's Hardball. Matthews at one point joked that he wished the primary process would go on longer as the ratings for his show have never been better. And that, my friends, is why they’re still saying Hillary has a chance.
