Few would disagree that the 2008 presidential campaign has been one of the most exciting in our lifetime. With diverse candidates and huge youth involvement, it seems change is on the horizon.

As part of Communication Professor David Domke's political blogging class, I, along with journalism majors Will Mari and Laura Mansfield, will be blogging from Indiana for the next five days for The Daily's Web site, seattleweekly.com and huffingtonpost.com. We will be driving to various regions throughout the state to report on the wide-range of sentiments regarding the upcoming primary.

With the state's governor in full support of Hillary Clinton, but a large patch of Barack Obama supporters in Northeast Indiana, it will be interesting to see who comes out on top. McCain may have a presence, but we expect it to be significantly less exciting than that of the democrats.

Stay tuned this weekend for exclusive coverage of the pre-primary sentiment in Indiana.
